Citizen petition warrant articles can make important changes to your school district to improve governance, fiscal prudence, and other matters. Recent changes to NH law enable voters to adopt caps on school district budgets and taxes.
Eric Pauer, President of SDGA, has authored dozens of petition warrant articles and will describe the process, including examples of petition warrant articles that can improve your school district. Registration is free, but required in order to receive a Zoom invitation.

Jody Underwood, Ph.D., long-serving member of the Croydon School Board, will explain the structure of school districts and the basic responsibilities of school board members. This introduction is intended for those thinking about running for school board, or school board members who are getting mixed messages about or who question what their roles and responsibilities actually are.
April 5, 2025, 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM
The learning curve is steep but these two hours will help you hit the ground running. Know your duties, identify the necessary knowledge base and avoid pitfalls.
