2026 SDGA Legislator Scorecards

The 2026 SDGA Legislator Scorecards for both the House and Senate have now been calculated and published. SDGA extends its appreciation to our representatives and senators for their consistent support of legislation that strengthens school district governance, promotes fiscal responsibility, and advances academic excellence for New Hampshire’s public schools and students. In total, 201 legislators earned an SDGA award this year, and all are Republicans.

House Scorecard Overview

A total of 96 roll‑call votes on SDGA‑tracked bills were used to compute the House scorecard, including votes from the 2026 session and the 2025 and 2026 veto days.

  • 185 State Representatives earned an award.
  • Perfect Score Award (17 representatives): earned by those who voted correctly on all 96 roll calls with no missed votes. Recipients include: Rep. Judy Aron, Rep. Lino Avellani, Rep. Glenn Bailey, Rep. JD Bernardy, Rep. Stephen Boyd, Rep. Susan DeLemus, Rep. Jess Edwards, Rep. Gerald Griffin, Rep. Thomas Kaczynski, Rep. Tom Mannion, Rep. Carol McGuire, Rep. Diane Pauer, Rep. Lisa Post, Rep. Kelley Potenza, Rep. Katherine Prudhomme‑O’Brien, and Rep. John Schneller.
  • Exemplary Score Award (143 representatives): earned by those scoring 90% or higher on the SDGA Support Score, ignoring excused absences.
  • Solid Score Award (25 representatives): earned by those scoring 70%–89% on the SDGA Support Score, ignoring excused absences.

Senate Scorecard Overview

The Senate scorecard is based on 32 roll‑call votes on SDGA‑tracked bills, including votes from the 2026 session and the 2025 and 2026 veto days.

  • Perfect Score Award (12 senators): Sen. Regina Birdsell, Sen. Sharon Carson, Sen. Bill Gannon, Sen. James Gray, Sen. Daniel Innis, Sen. Tim Lang, Sen. Tim McGough, Sen. Howard Pearl, Sen. David Rochefort, Sen. Victoria Sullivan, and Sen. Ruth Ward.
  • Exemplary Score Award (4 senators): earned by senators scoring 90% or higher on the SDGA Support Score, ignoring excused absences.
