2019-20 SDGA Seminar Series

SDGA offers seminars throughout the year on topics of interest to school board and budget committee members.  They are all held at the Nackey Loeb School of Communications in Manchester. Upcoming seminars and events include:

Sept 21 (9am)
What you need to know about being on a school board

Sept 21 (1pm)
What you need to know about school budgets

Jan 11 (9am)
‘A curriculum by any other name…’ The history of efforts to improve instruction and assessment.

Mar 14 (9am)
Policy and Legislation workshop. Participants will discuss and work on needed model policies and legislation for the SDGA to introduce.

2019 Ballistic Fundraiser

Friendly and fun shooting competition fundraiser to support the School District Governance Association of New Hampshire.


  • 11am-12pm Gun safety (for beginners or anyone who wants a refresher)
  • 12pm-3pm Various shooting competitions
  • 3pm-4pm Bardo Farm pig roast, with all the fixin’s
  • 4pm-5pm Open shooting


  • $50 includes pig roast and 25 rounds of ammo (5 rounds per competition); purchase additional ammo from us
  • $15 for pig roast only
  • $100 for Silver level sponsor (your name and logo will be displayed for one shooting event)
  • $200 for Gold level sponsor (same as Silver, plus a display for the entire event)

What to bring:

  • Your .22 handgun (there will be some available)
  • Eye and ear protection (there will be some available)
  • Lawn chairs

Other details:

  • 16 years or older
  • Soft drinks will be available for purchase
  • There will be non-pork food options
  • No alcohol
  • There will be prizes, raffles, and silent auction
